Delete your Learn Poker account

This page explains how to delete your account for Learn Poker, the app by BlackShine (Fernando Marcelo Parodi) on Google Play, and the associated data. You do not need the app installed.

Before deleting: if you have Premium through a paid subscription, cancel it first. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. On Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. On the web: the link in your Paddle confirmation email or paddle.net.

Option 1: from the Android app

Open Learn Poker and sign in to your account.
Go to Settings → Your account → Delete account.
Confirm. Deletion is immediate.

Option 2: from the web

Go to app.learn-poker.app in any browser and sign in with the same account (Google or email).
Go to Settings → Your account → Delete account.
Confirm. Deletion is immediate.

Option 3: by email

Write to ayuda@learn-poker.app from your account's email address, with the subject "Delete my account". We ask for that address to confirm the account is yours. We delete the account within 5 business days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your account and email, and the link to Google if you signed in with Google.
Your alias, your synced progress and your preferences stored on the server.
Your League data: XP, division, groups, results and submissions.
Your subscription status and the purchase event records we keep, and your data at RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.
Technical counters linked to your account.

We remove it from our database right away. Within 30 days at most it is also gone from our providers' backups.

What is kept

Purchase records: Paddle (web purchases) and Google (Android purchases) keep their transaction records, such as invoices and tax data, for the periods required by tax and accounting laws. We do not control them.
Promo codes: an anonymous record that the code was used, not linked to you, so it cannot be used again.
Emails: the email conversation, if you wrote to us, for as long as needed to handle your request.

Progress stored on your device

Deleting your account does not erase the progress the app stores on your device. To erase it: in the app, Settings → Erase my progress, or uninstall the app (on the web, clear the site's data in your browser). If you never created an account, all your data is only on your device and is erased that way.
